Bibelanimiert is a project really close to my heart. It's all about communicating the beautiful and engaging story of the bible in an immersive and attractive series of four animation videos. The whole project started as a bachelor thesis and evolved into a full time project I engaged in over the course of more than a year. This was made possible by an incredible community of people who participated in a crowdfunding which raised more than 50'000 CHF.
Here's a collection of the final layouts, designs and physical products used for the release campaign of the project. You can find more information about my work and this project in this portfolio, on bibelanimiert.com or on Kickstarter.
Invitation
The completion of the "Bibelanimiert" project was something I really wanted to celebrate. The Corona pandemic wasn't a great help there of course. To make the release of the video series something special none the less, I decided to host a livestream event. Be shure to check out the livestream and video ads in the "Video&Animation" section of this portfolio! The livestream event was announced by a special invitation and accompanied by a T-shirt give away and a postcard series featuring images of the videoseries. The invitation to the livestream was designed both as a poster and as an envelope. The front page of the invitation was the outer part of the envelope/poster, while the second page contained the invitation letter. To add something extra, the invitation contained a small card which had an access code printed on it. This code allowed access to the T-shirt giveaway on the project website. Originally, the card was supposed to be the access card to the on site event, but you know... hello Corona.
Giveaway
For the T-shirt giveaway I had to design a suitable logo, find a company to print the shirts, program a reservation system on the website and produce the advertisement on sozial media. Almost 100 shirts where shipped in the end. Here's a look at the products that I designed in the process.
Postcards
These where among my favourite products of the release campaign: the postcards. I took the most compelling illustrations from the videos and produced a postcard series with them. This presented me with a challenge. The artworks where all produced for digital use and hat to be adjusted for printing. None the less I was really pleased with the endresult.
